Mudhaf is a ceramics gallery dedicated to the work of an artistically thriving community of local potters that resides on the banks of Lake Qu’aroun in the Egyptian Oasis of Fayoum. This community is as exceptional as the crafts it produces. They have all been taught at the same local pottery school and chose to set up shop together in their village. Their work is rich, diverse, and yet exceptionally coherent. We personally curate each piece during regular visits to the village in order to showcase unique collections in our Amsterdam gallery.
